Academy of Arts for Kids - Tobago

The Academy of Arts for Kids provides an artistical space to develop an appreciation and enthusiasm for art. The classes give introductions in mixing paint, theory of colours, texture, concept and design of an art piece by drawing and painting abstract ideas, animals, still life, landscape ,portrait, figuration, interior... and encourage the students to be more aware of their surroundings and objects in their natural environment. There will be an integration of looking and making of art in form of drawing and painting on small or large scale paper, collages, figurine plastic... and showing different concepts of art in books about classic modern and contemporary art. The children will learn and discover different ways to express themselves and be very self-confident about their own creativity.
